Die genannte Exkursion führt auf die Kvarner Insel Krk (Unterkunft in Stara Baška) und 3 Tage ins Velebit (Unterkunft in Krasno Polje). Thema der Exkursion sind mediterrane und submediterrane Kulturlandschaft, ihre Entstehung und Nutzung. Neben der potentiell natürlichen Vegetation, sowie Ersatzvegetation, werden die Einnischung durch Avi- und Säugetierfauna bearbeitet. Im Velebit stehen der dinarische Wald und dessen Flora und Fauna im Focus, ebenfalls aber auch anthropogene Überformung. Anhand von Transekten werden Vegetationsaufnahmen, ornithologische Bestandsaufnahmen sowie Nachweise durch Fotofallen geübt.

Teilnahme am Vorbereitungsseminar im WS 2018/19 (831.132 Seminar zur Botanisch-ökologischen Exkursion)

The successful graduation from the course 831.132 “Seminar to the botanical-ecological excursion” is the basis for the participation on this excursion.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The gained knowledge from this preparatory course enables the students to observe and describe botanical, faunistic, geologic, but also socio-economic aspects in detail. They are acquainted with basic techniques to describe the flora, fauna, vegetation and factors of the landscape and are able to apply these in practice (teamwork). The students can understand, assess and illustrate aspects of the biology and landscape ecology in their interdependence.
