Introduction to mathematics and mathematical models
*Competences: After successful completion of this course students can represent problems of various areas of application simplified, by means of mathematical models, describe and simulate numercially (Excel, OpenOffice).
*Learning Outcomes: numerical solution of equations by means of target value search and solver, systems of linear equations and matrix in Excel, optimization using solver, numerical solution of recurrent equations and differential equations, variational calculus, simulation models and generation of random numbers, numerical solution of two-person zero-sum games
