Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Based on the lecture Mechanical and Thermal Process Technology I (LVA 893.122), modern extractive seperation processes which are of increasing importance for food and biotechnology are treated more thoroughly. Additionally, the very important subject of chemical reaction technology is treated systematically starting from basic knowledge of reaction equilibria and kinetics and moving to the design of reactors.
