Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students shall be aquainted with methods applicable to silvicultural decision making problems and their application in "real life" situations. Upon successful completion of the course students shall know advantages and disadvantages of a set of possible methodological approaches to rationally solve silvicultural decision making problems and shall be able to select appropriate methods for a particular decision problem.
