Content

In this course, the characteristics and requirements of transformative research (i.e. research that contributes to and intervenes in a socio-ecological transformation) are developed and discussed. It focuses on questions like: Does transformative research need specific framework conditions? And if so, which ones? How can young researchers working in transformative research be supported and which career paths can they take?

The course participants conduct explorative expert interviews with experienced researchers and ask prospective researchers about their experiences. The aim is to describe typical career paths based on persona approaches.
