Spatio-temporal urban energy system modeling
New publication in the journal „Renewable and Susainable Energy Reviews“
Daniel Horak (AIT) deals with spatio-temporal of urban energy systems in his dissertation. In the study „A review of spatio-temporal urban energy system modeling for urban decarbonization strategy formulation“, published together with his supervisors Ali Hainoun (AIT), Georg Neugebauer and Gernot Stöglehner (IRUB), currently applied concepts and tools for spatio-temporal urban energy system modeling are analysed. The evaluation of 20 urban energy system modeling frameworks shows a varying coverage of the identified dimensions, whereby the aspects of mobility and flexibilization of the energy system are clearly underrepresented.
