Reinfried Mansberger, expert in land administration and geomatics, is honored by the Ethiopian Debre Markos University for many years of cooperation. In a special ceremony, the numerous joint projects, which made a significant contribution to the establishment of land administration in teaching and research in Ethiopia, were honored.

Climate-smart urban development - ERASMUS+ Project in Vienna

The ERASMUS+ Project SmartWB aims to improve higher education quality in climate-smart urban development (CSUD). During times of increasing urbanization, cities should be well-planned and managed. The Project is a collaboration of several higher educational institutions (HEIs). This project Workshop on CSUDs, current and future challenges, was held 31st May to 2nd June 2023, at BOKU Vienna.

How did our land use change?

Declassified photographs taken from U.S. military intelligence satellites help science to study land use / land cover changes, especially in areas where other data sources are not available
