1. understand and apply the fundamentals of soil mechanics,
2. conduct soil classification and evaluate soil properties,
3. calculate and analyze soil shear strength,
4. perform and interpret site investigations effectively,
5. calculate and interpret stresses within the subsoil,
6. assess and analyze subsoil deformability,
7. identify and evaluate groundwater issues,
8. design and apply filter structures,
9. predict the time-dependent settlement of structures,
10. determine and assess soil bearing capacity,
11. analyze the interaction between structures and soil,
12. explain and calculate active earth pressure,
13. understand and calculate passive earth pressure,
14. compare and analyze different types of earth and water pressure,
15. conduct practical exercises to apply learned knowledge.
