The lecture contains beside an introduction of basic concepts in our physical environment (energy and water balance) planning of experiments and measurements including detailed information on sensors. The chapters are: data collection methods, signal transfer, measurement methods of single parameters such as temperature, radiation, air humidity, evapotranspiration, precipitation, wind and turbulence, soil and plant water content, aerologic methods (radio and ballon sonde) and remote sensing methods ( sodar, radar, lidar and infrared thermography).
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
-
Knowledge of equipment and sensors for measuring the physical environment. To learn basic aspects of planning for measurements and data interpreatation.
