- Previous knowledge expected
-
Basics in biochemistry, genetics, microbiology and molecular biology. According to the bachelor programm food science and biotechnology 033217.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
-
After successful completing this course, students will have deepened their knowledge of cell and molecular biological principles and processes; they will possess also a basic understanding of prokaryotic and eukaryotic genetic systems. Furthermore, they are in the position to apply this knowledge to research and biotechnological applications and should be able to develop new concepts.
