The planning process, methodic approaches and project organisation; Public relations, shaping political ideas and community participation; Case studies;
Analysis of normative and informative elements in planning (with a presentation by the students); development of a traffic concept for a particular site on the principle of an environmentally friendly handling of traffic under consideration of motorized and non-motorized transport modes; presentation of the plans in the form of an exhibition.

Compulsory courses in the field of transport planning, knowledge in computer-aided design and design of cross-sections.

The seminars aim to consolidate the methods and theory taught in the lectures and exercises on transport planning and highway engineering by getting teams of students to prepare a traffic model for a particular city site. This also gives the students the opportunity to further develop their teamwork and presentation skills.
