This course will provide an overview of state-of-the-art techiques to characterize a protein sample in a comprehensive way. One focus will be on the characterization of biomolecular interactions and the available approaches to study them. The course will convey the theoretical concepts and also provide the possibility of hands-on training for selected methods (mass spectrometry, surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy, flow cytometry).
