The Bachelor's thesis is a literature review at ILEN; the aim of the work is to systematically present the state of knowledge about a particular topic. This is based on a comprehensive analysis of publications in scientific books and journals.

Group work and discussions covering the following topics:

* Structure and process planning of a scientific paper
* Text formatting and layout

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Introduction into scientific writing with regard to a Bachelor's thesis

Students learn and apply the handling of scientific resources, prepare complex issues and work on a topic concerning nature conservation and landscape ecology by using scientific approaches.
Knowledge of the strategies in developing a new thematic area
• Knowledge of the most important search media for scientific work
• Experience in the time management of a scientific paper
• Experience in dealing with review processes
• Experience in structuring and drafting long scientific texts
