There will be excursions for one or more days in Austria and neighboring countries. Irrigation facilities, drainage systems, soil conservation systems, agro-hydrological stations and general facilities of cultivation and water management will be visited.

By participating in the excursions the students receive a clear practical relation to their acquired theoretical knowledge concerning systems of rural water management. This results in a deepening of the field of this specific fields.
