In the project course, strategies for town core development are drafted in international student groups within an ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme on the basis of a case study. Inventory, target setting and generation of measures in the building stock, in particular redensification and quality improvements in terms of mix of functions, density, green infrastructure and sustainable transport are developed.

Students learn how town core development can work in small and medium-sized towns and what strategies can be used to revitalize town cores. In doing so, they learn how environmental, social and economic factors can be taken into account.
