Content

The lecture series is dedicated to the perspectives and contradictions of a socio-ecological transformation from the perspective of workers and their representatives (e.g., trade unions). It opens up a space for the exchange of current research and the expansion of transformation competence between trade unions, researchers and civil society. It pays particular attention to the connection between social and ecological issues in current crisis management and transformation conflicts.

The lecture series has a three-hour format. This framework makes it possible to bring lectures and impulses (also from international lecturers) into dialog with research and practicioners in Austria. The lecturers prepare their inputs along 3 to 4 guiding questions in order to ensure the coherence of the inputs and the lecture as a whole. Formats such as round tables, practical impulses or factory reports are used for the dialogical elements.
