-Timber harvesting systems for accessible and non-accessible terrain
-Skid trails, skid roads
-Cost calculation and operational planning
-Recording of field data and planning tools for the dimensioning of cable yarding systems
-Accident cause analyses, preventive measures and personal protective equipment
-Risk analysis at the workplace and instruction during timber harvesting

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

-Students will be able to name the methods and systems used in timber harvesting with regard to their productivity, function and suitability for use, especially in sensitive areas.
-Students will be able to explain the relevant influencing parameters and calculation models for determining timber harvesting costs.
-They can outline the most common causes of accidents at work, explain accident prevention measures and the employer's responsibilities in the area of occupational safety.
