Content

Influence of forest ecosystem structure and composition on gravitational hazardous processes (rockfall, avalanches, erosion, mudflow, landslide, water retention) and related protective effects. Underlying hazardous processes are analysed, relevant system attributes are identified and profiles for effective protection are derived.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Participants have knowledge of gravitational hazardous processes and forest ecosystem attributes with protective effect. Profiles to provide protection against specific hazards can be derived.
