In this lecture series, relevance and contributions of various spatial and planning sciences as well as engineering biology for the creation and safeguarding of health-promoting urban living environments will be discussed, with a special focus on green-blue infrastructure.

Students understand the requirements, opportunities and challenges of implementing the Healthy City model at a strategic and operational level against the background of complex spatial trends and developments and the need for coordination.
