Content

In addition to the Chemical Process Engineering and Reaction Engineering course, experimental investigations in the laboratory and excursions to pilot and demonstration plants are carried out in the practical course, and calculation examples and balances are worked out together.

The practical hands-on experience of the course content is intended to strengthen the long-term understanding of chemical process engineering and reaction engineering.

Previous knowledge expected

Together with the course Chemical Process Engineering and Reaction Engineering

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

- Laboratory experiments (e.g. ideal reactors)
- Excursions (e.g. thermo-chemical conversion of biomass and waste on a demo scale)
- Calculation examples
- balancing
- etc.
