Content

In the presentation and presentation techniques course, students are offered a framework for getting to know different presentation techniques and applying them themselves. To this end, the most important theoretical background is first explained. Subsequently, students are asked to prepare presentations independently and present them to the group. Different types of scientific and non-scientific presentations are covered.

There are 4 attendance dates:

1st date - intro (1.5 h)
2nd and 3rd date: presentation exercises (2.25 h each)
4. final presentations (3 h)

Previous knowledge expected

None; recommendation: complete the course shortly before the Bachelor's thesis (-> presentation topics)

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

After completing this module, students will have acquired in-depth knowledge and experience in the area of presentations. This covers both scientific and non-scientific presentations. Students learn different presentation techniques (scientific and non-scientific) in theory and have the opportunity to try them out for themselves in various practice scenarios.

Attendance is compulsory, although absence is permitted for up to 1 date.
