Content

During this seminar you will get the chance to document and reflect on your experience you drew or you are currently drawing from an internship related to the working fields of landscape planning and landscape architecture.

Procedure for taking part:
1. Register for the course on BOKU ONLINE
2. Complete the fact sheet (details of the work placement, upload your work reference) on BOKUlearn
-> PLEASE NOTE: this is only possible on the day after you have registered for the course on BOKU ONLINE!
3. Wait for group allocation (information will be provided once the registration period on BOKU ONLINE has ended)

4 groups related to the 4 Institutes

* ILEN Group Arnberger: Landscape Development, Recreation and Conservation Planning.
First meeting: 21.10.26, 2-4 PM, lecture room will be announced; Presentations: probably 20.1.27, starting at 2 PM, lecture room will be announced.
*ILAP Group Gugerell: Landschaftsplanung: Vorbesprechung am 27. 10, 15.00-16.00, Simonyhaus, 1. Stock/Besprechungsraum, Präsentationstermin 15.1.26, 15.00 SR 19.2, Simonyhaus) Dates will be set at the first meeting in October
*INLA Group Wück: Landschaftsarchitektur (Vorbesprechungstermin am 22.10., 16-17 Uhr, Besprechungsraum 02/06, Simonyhaus; Endpräsentation 20.01.2027 ; 16-18:00; Besprechungsraum 02/05, Simonyhaus)
*IBLB Group Briefer: Landschaftsbautechnik - Ingenieurbiologie - Vegetationstechnik

The reports must be submitted in the beginning of December. The reports have to be sent via e-mail to the respective supervisor. Individual counseling appointments are announced by the various supervisors after submitting the report.
The final presentation of the group takes place January 2026 (Arnberger, Mayrhofer, Wück, Pitha/Briefer ) of the semester and the final report has to be submitted a few days earlier.

Following SDGs are adressed: 11, 13, 14, 15.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The aim of the seminar is:
* to show the practical activities and to professionally reflect and engage in the study of landscape planning and landscape architecture.
*to evaluate and present the personal and professional learning outcome.
*to improve competences in terms of applying theoretical and methodical knowledge in planning practice.
