Sustainably healthy – the BOKU Health Days 2022

This year, in the anniversary year of our university, the BOKU Health Days have the motto "sustainably healthy". The first Health Day will take place on May 17, 2022 at the Türkenschanze. The focus is on mobility and physical health. In terms of content, the event will be organized for the first time in cooperation with the Center for Global Change and Sustainability.

You can expect a wide range of health information, health checks and health advice and workshops aimed at maintaining or improving individual health. On the other hand, it should also be possible to make a social contribution to healthier and more sustainable development.

Lectures for Future summer term 2022 - Call for lectures

With the summer term 2022 the Lectures for Future will enter the sixth edition!
We invite you to register your lecture for the Lectures for Future this semester! To do so, please fill out the call for lectures until January 30th, 2022.

The L4F are a cross-university, interdisciplinary lecture series that offers interested people current insights into scientific and artistic work on the climate crisis and other grand challenges in an accessible way.
Here you can find an overview of last semester’s program (a new website for the L4F is currently being developed).

What are the conditions for guest lecturers?

  • Guest lectures can be submitted by scientists, artists, as well as individuals and organizations with a connection to climate and sustainability. In the spirit of interdisciplinary exchange, one of the main ideas of the L4F is that guest lecturers present at a university other than their own.
  • The guest lectures are distributed among the participating universities and the coordinators of the respective universities will then contact you for further procedure.
  • The L4F format is implemented individually by the participating universities, which means that the general conditions (e.g. language, online/presence, audience) will vary slightly. The length of a lecture is approximately 60-90 minutes including discussion.

For any further questions please contact L4F(at)uni-ak.ac.at or learn more on the Lectures for Future website.
