The 6th Young Scientist Forum will take place on the 14th of June 2011 in the Hall of BOKU. The event will consist of interesting presentations and discussions on the topic "Food security".

The Young Scientist Forum is organised by students of the course “Applied Development Research”. What will we eat, when there are 9 Billion People in the world? There are many challenges that a large global population will face, with food and water scarcity some of the biggest concerns for the future. Agricultural production of food will need to stand up to the tremendous challenge of providing for so many, under stressed natural resources and a changing environment. Come join a student forum where you can learn from fellow students and other professional researchers about ways that this global problem can be addressed! Ask questions and participate in a lively discussion. It is free and refreshements will be served. Join us on June 14 Tuesday at the Festsaal in Gregor Mendel Haus, BOKU, Gregor Mendel Strasse 33, 1180 Wien. Visit for more info. Watch the clip
