New Strategies against Parasites


Parasites cause a number of diseases: a new Marie Curie Network with Iain Wilson as partner will train young parasitologists.

Whether worms or trypanosomes, malaria parasites or amoebae, parasites cause a number of diseases. The new Marie Curie Initial Training Network entitled ‘Parasite Glycobiology and Anti-Parasitic Strategies’ brings together twelve academic and four commercial partners, including Iain Wilson and his ‘Molecular Glycobiology’ group at the BOKU.
