INITS Award 2008 for a scientific researcher in the VIRIS Lab

Ms. Marion Brunner, phD student since 2007 at the Department of Chemistry, Division of Analytical Chemistry, VIRIS Lab at the university of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences won the 3rd prize of the INITS Awards 2008 within the category “Life Sciences” with her diploma thesis “Determination of geographical origin of agricultural products via isotopic and elemental analyses by Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) on the example of Asparagus officinalis”. The aim of this award is to figure out potentials and innovations of scientific theses as well as to highlight the economic feasibility and realisation.
