Microbial Stress - from Molecules to Systems

A conference with the topic " microbial stress" will be held in Hotel Panhans from May 7th to May 10th 2009. The conference has been organised with the help of BOKU and FH Campus Wien under the auspices of the European Federation of Biotechnology.

The responses of microorganisms to stress will be viewed from all levels starting with detailed molecular biology through whole organism systems biology and up to the level of populations.  This kind of cross-fertilisation of ideas and techniques is crucial in gaining a complete understanding of microbial responses to stress.
