World-wanderer - 20.000 km of hiking

Gregor Sieböck has walked on foot through half the world. Now, he has hiked across the Alps to France, along the Franziskus pilgrim trail to Italy and from the pittoresque fjords of Norway to the North. Gregor Sieböck (www.globalchange.at) has been WELTENwanderer (world-wanderer) and world pilgrim since 2003 and has lived alternative concepts.His ecological fingerprint is 1.5 ha. Recently, his book ‚Der Weltenwanderer‘ was published: „…Ich werde wieder auf eine lange Wanderung gehen, da für mich das zu Fuß gehen die beste und einfachste Möglichkeit ist, um die Welt, die Menschen und mich selbst kennen zu lernen…zu Fuß um die Welt, ein einfaches Leben im respektvollen Umgang mit der Natur und anderen Lebewesen. Sollen das etwa nur Träume sein?“ He has hiked 17.500 km in three years and has demonstrated alternative concepts of an elementary and ecological life. The lecture shows impressive pictures imaging the magic beauty of the moment.
