Fieldwork in the Black Forest (Germany) and the Biosphere Reserve Nockberge (Austria)

Summer-time is fieldwork time: we kicked-off our #ALPMEMA project, funded by #Biodiversa+ & #FWF.

The project investigatesthe role of #underuse and #propertyrights on the favourable conservation status #mountainhaymeadows.

Together with our colleagues from the University Hohenheim (Germany), MIUN (Sweden), University Copenhagen (Denmark) and Acopian Center for the Environment, American University of Armenia Foundation (Armenia) we will be working on this project for the next three years.

Our first meeting and fieldwork took us to the Black Forest in Germany and the Biosphere Reserve Nockberge (Austria).
