Adhesive Bonding
Adhesives
The "adhesives" group focuses on the fundamental understanding of all aspects regarding adhesive bonding of solid wood and wood particles of various sizes.
Activities comprise characterization and modification of adherent surfaces, interphases and adhesives. Adhesive development including formaldehyde free adhesives and renewable components, additives, adhesive adherent interaction, processes of adhesive application for (engineered) wood products, up to bond performance are topics of interest.
