Science Afternoon with Prof Dr. DDr.h.c. Christian Körner

Prof. Körner was for many years Professor of Botany at the University of Basel after receiving his academic career at the University of Innsbruck. He developed the field of „experimental ecology“ with focus on high-altitude plants and holds memberships at the Austrian Academy of Science and the German National Academy of Sciences, Leopoldina. He was and still is a very active and successful researcher with about 4000 received citations each year and a h-Index of more than 140.
