10 years BOKU Training Pass

We are celebrating an anniversary: 10 years ago - in April 2015 - the BOKU Training Pass was launched. This was preceded by a year of preparation with extensive stakeholder discussions and workshops on content and structure as well as numerous programming hours for BOKU-IT.

Today, the BOKU Training Passport is firmly established as an internal learning management system and is known beyond BOKU as a successful model for the needs-based organization of internal knowledge management in the community. With their individual training pass, all employees have an additional competence profile of the training courses they have attended, which is beneficial for both internal and external professional development.

In 2025, we celebrate more than 3,000 organized training course with a total of almost 30,000 participants and numerous important learning experiences for BOKU employees. The welcome lecture for new BOKU employees took place 28 times and was attended by 920 people.

10 years after the introduction of the BOKU Training Pass, we are reaching more than twice as many employees with training measures and the total number of course attendances has increased 2.6 times since 2015. This means that not only are more employees attending training courses today, but individual employees are also undergoing more training.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, you can now download your BOKU Training Pass in a new design. To do so, log in via the BOKU portal and click on 'Print training pass'.
