Africa Uninet Project

During a research stay at the Maseno University Ardalan Darayei and Markus Immitzer completed extensive fieldwork in the region around Lake Victoria, Kenya. We support local researchers in mapping the land cover in the lake's catchment area. The aim is to investigate the impact of land use and its changes on the water quality of the lake.
