Registration period summer semester

The registration period opens on January 7th and closes on February 5th 2025 for Bachelor's programmes.

The registration period opens on January 7th and closes on March 31st 2025* for Master's programmes.

Registration period winter semester

The registration period opens on June 17th and closes on September 5th 2025 for Bachelor's programmes.

The registration period opens on June 17th and closes on October 31st 2025* for Master's programmes.

Applicants from non-EU and non-EEA countries

• by July 31st for admission in the winter semester
• by December 31st for admission in the summer semester

All Application deadlines

First-time Admission to BOKU University comprises 4 steps:

1. Application 

   (for all applicants exepted with general University qualification from Austria, Germany or South Tyrol or to Non-degree programmes)

2. Pre-registration
3. Registration in person (you will receive information about this after pre-registration)
4. Paying the Membership to the Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH) if applicable tuition fee
