New Course Evaluation

Due to a technical changeover, the standardized course evaluation was paused in the summer semester 2026. At the same time, we conducted a small pilot with a new tool in the summer semester. In the course of the technical changeover, the questionnaire was also revised and shortened. You can view it by logging in here:

Lecturers should give their students time to fill out the questionnaire during the course. They can use the opportunity to ask an important question orally, the students answer this question at the end of the questionnaire as a free text. 
 

What remains unchanged?

   Students can (with a few exceptions) evaluate any course every semester. 
   The questionnaire can also be easily filled out on mobile phones and tablets. 
   The questionnaire is in the field for 3 weeks at a time.

Therefore, the questionnaire can be filled out both during the course and afterwards.

What's new?

   There is no longer a standard survey period, but the survey is created by the system the night before the last meeting date and the link to the questionnaire is sent to the registered students. 
   To fill out the evaluation questionnaire, students click on the link in the invitation e-mail. In the future, the questionnaire will only be available via this link and will no longer be accessible via BOKUonline. 
   After the evaluation period has expired, 2 results are automatically generated: 
   First, the evaluation accessible to all BOKUonline users, without free text answers. The link to this document is stored in the additional information of the course description in BOKUonline. 
   Secondly, the lecturers receive their own evaluations for their courses, which also contain the answers to open questions. The lecturers receive the access link by e-mail.
