The project’s findings will make a key contribution to a better understanding of the governance needed to reconcile nature conservation and regional development. This will help existing biosphere reserves achieve UNESCO’s ambitious goals. Furthermore, the findings can be directly applied to the establishment of new biosphere reserves. To ensure that the results are effectively communicated to the project’s target audiences, REGO is committed to maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the works council and other stakeholders.
