Mag. Dr. Helga Pülzl
Helga Pülzl is a political scientist and a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Forest, Environmental and Resource Policy at BOKU. She holds a Master and a PhD in political science from the University of Vienna. Helga has 20 years of research experience in the fields of policy analysis that includes policy change and governance, policy implementation and indicator development in the areas of international and European forest policy, and sustainable development.

Dr. Sarah Louise Nash BA, MA, MSc
Sarah Louise Nash is a political scientist and has been a researcher at the Institute of Forest, Environmental and Resource Policy at BOKU since November 2017. Since March 2020 she has been working in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie action from the European Commission. Sarah holds a PhD in politicalscience from the University of Hamburg, an MSc in Human Rights andInternational Politics from the University of Glasgow, an MA in German and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Political Science fromthe University of Vienna. Her area of research includes climate politics and policy, especially at the intersection of climate change and migration.

Jerbelle Elomina BSc, MSc
Jerbelle Elomina is a forester and a researcher who joined the Institute of Forest, Environmental and Resource Policy at BOKU on November 2019. Jerbelle holds a MSc in Forest Sciences from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and MSc in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Eastern Finland. She had her BSc in Forestry in the University of the Philippines.

Katharina Toth BA, MSc
Katharina Toth is a scientist working at the Institute of Forest, Environmental and Resource Policy at BOKU since September 2018. She holds a BA in International Development from the University of Vienna and a MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Copenhagen and BOKU, with a specialisation on climate change.
Hannah Hofbauer BSc
Hannah Hofbauer BSc
Hannah Hofbauer has been a research assistant at the Institute of Forest, Environmental and Resource Policy since July 2020. After completing a BSc in Environment and Bio-Resources Management at BOKU she specialized in environmental information management and regional development in her master’s degree.
Lukas Wagner BSc
Lukas Wagner BSc
Lukas Wagner started working at InFER in November 2019. He holds a BSc in Ecosystem Management from the Georg-August-University in Göttingen, Germany. Since October 2019 he is enrolled in the master’s programme Environment and Bio-Resources Management with a focus on regional development at BOKU.
Katharina Trimmel BSc
Katharina Trimmel BSc
Katharina Trimmel will be a student assistant at the Institute of Forest, Environment and Resource Policy from autumn 2020. She has a BSc in environmental and bioresource management from BOKU and specializes in regional development in the master’s program.
