Hi! My name is Alina, I am Ukrainian-portuguese, I am currently based in Lisbon and staying in Vienna for 1 year starting 17 March as part of my PhD program in Environmental Engineering. My Bachelors and Masters were completed in Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon.
In my PhD I focus on comparative environmental impacts of food products and diets. My specialty is Life Cycle Assessment and during my stay in BOKU I will be working with BioBaM, a biomass balance model that enables to explore different food production and consumption scenarios and their impacts, both global and localized.
I love art, cuisine, nature, hikes, learning new languages and making new friends. Feel free to reach out to co-work or hang out!
