• Dr. Rafael Benitez studied Mathematics at the University of Valencia and obtained his PhD at the University of Extremadura (Spain), where he currently is associate professor. His main research topics are intergal equations, statistical methods and the application of mathematics to physical problems. 
  • During his stay at BOKU he will teach the following courses: i) Mathematical methods of biophysics and soft matter (803002), and ii) Computer methods in biophysics and soft matter (803003).
