Sarah Prehsler is a Research Coordinator at the Centre for Development Research. She joined the centre in March 2011. Function Research, writing publications, experimenting with facilitation methods (dance, theatre) Biography Sarah is fascinated by social and human realities: interaction, communication, social resilience, behavior change. Her research focuses on social aspects in the agricultural context of sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a degree in landscape planning and management, and started her experience with an ethnobotanical study on baobab and tamarind in Senegal. She then continued in Uganda, working on farmers' experiments and innovations. Currently she engages in a project in Mozambique. Beside the development of a social resilience index, she experiments with methods from theatre and dance to support the facilitation of multi-stakeholder approaches.
