Lemlem Aregu Behailu
Lemlem Aregu Behailu is a research fellow at the Centre for Development Research. She joined the Centre in October 2011. Function
Conducting research, research analysis, writing reports and papers Biography Lemlem did her Bachelor studies at Alemaya University, Ethiopia and obtained her Master degree at Wagenigen University, the Netherlands in Plant Science and Rural Sociology. Over the past ten years she worked for various research and development organisations in Ethiopia e.g. Ethiopian Institute of Agriculture Research (EIAR), GTZ, SoS Shale- Ethiopia and International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) as an Agronomist, Socio Economists, Gender Officer and Gender Specialist. Lemlem is currently working on her doctoral thesis on Adaptive Co-Management of Communal Grazing Land in Amhara Region, Ethiopia with a particular attention to gender issues. Ika Darnhofer is her supervisor and Michael Hauser, Hermann Peyerl, Maria Wurzinger, Werner Zollitsch and Jemimah Njuki are her advisory team members.
