Urban densification and changing climatic conditions represent a major challenge for open space- and planting design in our cities. An appropriate use of resources, sensitive integration into the existing built environment and a suitable horticultural-technical use of vegetation are relevant factors contributing to sustainable and satisfying solutions. Participation processes help to implement and communicate the value of such green-blue infrastructures.
