Glycochemistry and Innate immunity

Synthetic Glycans for Immunobiology and Therapeutic Immunomodulation

Our major research interests are in the field of bioorganic chemistry (synthesis of glycoconjugates, glycolipids, and carbohydrate-derived pathogen-associated molecular patterns) and chemical biology (inflammation, infection, immune response and vaccines).

We focus on development of glycan-based biomolecules as tools for exploration of structural and molecular basis of the host innate immune response to infection and inflammation.
