Complexity Science Hub @ BOKU
About us
Since the beginning of 2023, BOKU is a member of the Complexity Science Hub (CSH) (https://csh.ac.at). Founded in 2016, the CSH conducts research on complex systems, which are defined as systems in which different components interact dynamically with each other, resulting in behaviour that cannot be derived from that of the individual components. Examples include social networks, supply chains, financial markets, and environmental systems.
Based in Vienna, the CSH is home to around 70 independent scientists and offers plenty of room for interdisciplinary exchange and visiting scientists.
Collaboration and interaction with the CSH will be intensified over the years through joint activities such as projects and joint employees.

BOKU's activities with the CSH are coordinated and developed in close cooperation with ‘DATA Science @ BOKU’ (https://short.boku.ac.at/datascience).
