BOKU meets CSH – April 9th 2026
Since the beginning of 2023, BOKU is a member of the Complexity Science Hub (CSH)(https://csh.ac.at). Founded in 2016, the CSH conducts research on complex systems, i.e. systems in which multiple components interact dynamically, giving rise to emergent behaviour that cannot be inferred from the properties of individual components alone. Examples include social networks, supply chains, financial markets, ecological systems, and global environmental change.
This workshop aims to explore existing collaborations between BOKU and CSH and to identify new research synergies at the interface of environmental sciences, social-ecological systems, data science, and complexity research.
