Conducting research, research analysis, Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation of Innovation Platforms in Mozambique, offering seminars, facilitating in conferences organised by the centre, writing reports and papers. Biography
Bella Nyamukure obtained a Masters degree in “Social Ecology” from the University of Zimbabwe. Her Masters thesis explores the outcomes of changing access rights to former commercial farm fisheries and dams in relation to the 2000 land reform process in Zimbabwe. She has also worked as a facilitator with the Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in the establishment and functionalization of Innovation Platforms in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. In cooperation with CIAT Bella is currently working on her doctoral thesis entitled: Enhancing smallholder farmers’ livelihoods through multi-stakeholder Innovation Platforms, best fit technology innovations and improved market alliances with farmers in Mozambique. Her work is supervised by Rainer Haas, Michael Hauser and Nelson Mango. Her current research interest is institutional innovation and sustainable smallholder farmers’ livelihoods in agriculture.
