  • Borrowing media 
    Borrowing privileges for students are automatically activated when an account is created in BOKUonline. The BOKUcard serves as a library card. Borrowing is free of charge; however, fees will be charged if the return deadline is exceeded. In your personal user account in BOKU:LITsearch, you can view account information and renew borrowed books.
     
  • Textbooks
    Basic literature recommended as examination material in introductory courses is available in one of the two textbook collections, located in the Ilse-Wallentin-Haus and the Special Library for Food and Biotechnology. All copies can be borrowed. Many textbooks are also available as e-books and can be found through targeted search options.
     
  • Digital library
    In addition to an extensive collection of e-books (searchable through BOKU:LITsearch using the filter “Medium: E-Book”), the library provides various databases for research as well as a large collection of electronic journals (e-journals).
