The University Library is part of transformative or publishing agreements with the publishers listed below that can be used by BOKU affiliated authors (see UG 2002 §94). In the course of this, the University Library will cover the APCs in selected journals of the participating publishers. The contracts with AAAS and MDPI only include a discount for BOKU members, no coverage of costs.

Before submitting, be sure to check whether your chosen journal is eligible for funding and whether you can meet the other funding criteria. Please also note that article contingents may be limited. In any case, please indicate BOKU as at least one affiliation (see Affiliation Policy). There is no legal entitlement to funding.
