This element allows you to insert an already existing content (insert records).

backend: special elements (insert records)

References are links and can be set to an element, but also to a whole page. This allows you to use content several times. Changes can only be made in the main element and are automatically updated in all references.

Inserted records

  • cannot be edited directly.
  • are set via "special elements".

We recommend that you only make references to other content elements within one language in TYPO3..

References from English to German and vice versa may be possible in the current TYPO3 version, but we cannot guarantee their functionality in all variants and future TYPO3 versions.
