To be citeable, the data should be stored in a registered data repository (

As long as BOKU does not have its own data repository, researchers are encouraged to store their data in such a repository or to upload it to BOKU's own community on Zenodo. Zenodo is a repository for content of any kind and format, based on the open source software Invenio and operated via OpenAIRE and CERN. Since this system offers the possibility to bundle and make visible content via communities, BOKU uses this service to collect and archive the data and content of its researchers. All content in Zenodo is automatically assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), which ensures citability.
