International Master Programmes

International master programmes at BOKU are study programmes jointly offerd by BOKU and international life science/technical partner universities. In these study programmes, the participating universities combine their expertise and, their focus areas. The students choose from a wide range of lectures at at least two different universities (depending on the programme). Most of the programmes offer either a joint or double degree. The language of instruction is English (unless stated otherwise).

Erasmus Mundus Master Programmes

An Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. Students at Master's level from all over the world can apply. Scholarships, funded by the European Commission, are available.

Master Programmes of the Euroleague for Life Sciences

The Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) is a network of leading universities cooperating in the fields of Natural Resource Management, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Life Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Food Sciences, and Environmental Sciences. Through this network, BOKU realises many international (educational) projects, like international master programmes, summer schools, scientific student conferences...

In addition, the Erasmus Mundus Programmes EMABG - European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics  and emPLANT + - Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Plant Breeding are offered as part of the Euroleague for Life Sciences.

Double Degree Transatlantic Forestry Master (TRANSFOR-M) in Kanada

Study one year at BOKU University and one year at a Canadian partner university
